Welcome from Educational Services, Sean McPhetridge, Assistant Superintendent
The primary goal of AUSD’s Educational Services department is to provide support for our early childhood development programs, elementary schools, middle schools, alternative schools, comprehensive high schools, parenting academies and workshops, and our adult education programs. This support takes many forms, and it involves participants from within our district and from community partner agencies.
The Educational Services department addresses the needs and requirements of schools through various departments:
Educational Services believes that the work of the department is to serve the students, families, teachers and administrators of the AUSD community by improving the teaching and learning conditions, expectations and opportunities for everyone—teachers, families and students.
Our work is guided by AUSD’s Guiding Principle #1 stating that all students have the ability to achieve academic and personal success. We are committed to raising the bar in student achievement and will strive to provide opportunities for them to thrive.
