Performance Management System: Overview
The Alameda Board of Education has prioritized a performance management system as a strategic district goal due to AUSD’s ongoing desire for continuous improvement. Components of an evolving performance management system include the following:
“Scorecards” by which all AUSD District Office departments solicit regular feedback on their services in order to improve delivery of core functions of each department
School Updates and Progress Reports (SUPR) to assist Board and District Office in decision-making needed to allocate resources for school improvement priorities
Regular presentations on student achievement to inform AUSD instructional work (e.g., Ten Steps to Success, a comprehensive “standardized data package” that shows milestones of students and district in preparation for college and career readiness)
These "spotlight on peformance reports" summarize key facts from the previous school year (the most recent year for which we have complete data).
