Raising the Bar for Food & Nutrition Services

As part of continuous improvement, FNS is raising the bar in the quality of menus and enhancements to school meals by including more nutritious entree choices and increasing the availability & variety of fruits, vegetables and whole grains. FNS strives to meet the nutritional needs of students within their age-specific calorie requirements, and therefore meals are not super-sized. Our focus is on creating a healthier school nutrition environment.
