What is the purpose of Data Confirmation?
Data Confirmation for returning students is used to affirm a student's attendance in Alameda Unified School District (AUSD) for the upcoming school year. It's also an opportunity to update emergency contacts, acknowledge annual authorizations, and review District policies. We ask that all families complete the process to make sure we have up to date information for your student.

Please note: Data Confirmation is what we used to refer to as “Annual Registration.”


When can we access the Data Confirmation?

For the 2021-22 school year, Data Confirmation will be available the week of August 9. New families will receive an email with log-in information to help them get started.


I have never accessed the Aeries Family Portal. How do I log in?
Please go to our Aeries Family Portal web page to learn how to access and create an account in the Aeries Family Portal. You can also look at our Data Confirmation Guide for Families page.


What information will be collected during data confirmation?
Aeries is AUSD’s student information system. Most of the information you will see was collected at the time of your student’s initial enrollment or during last year’s data confirmation process. During each annual Data Confirmation, you will have the opportunity to update:

  • Student Information (Primary Contact Phone Number and Address)
  • Parent/Legal Guardian Information
  • Emergency Contacts
  • Health information (Doctor, History, Conditions, and Medications)
  • Annual Parent/Legal Guardian Agreements (i.e. Medical Release, Media Release, etc.)


Who do I contact with technical questions or for assistance?
For technical difficulties, please write to Be sure to include your name and your student’s name so we can help you more efficiently. Please note two common difficulties, however: 1) The process doesn't work well on Internet Explorer; and 2) you cannot log onto Aeries from outside the country. 


I’ve accessed my Aeries Family Portal account, now what?
Please complete the Student Data Confirmation Process for each of your students. A yellow bar will show at the top of your home screen until the process has been completed.

If you have more than one student you will need to complete the process for each student. Use the “Change Student” dropdown in the upper right corner of the page.


What should I do if I don’t see all of my students listed when I click “Change Student”?
Please write to Include your name and your student’s name in your email so we can help you more efficiently.

How do I make changes to my student’s information after I have completed and submitted the online form?
Please contact your child’s school for assistance.
